For those who operate and maintain buildings to achieve high performance. Tom Javins is a Professional Engineer with over 30 years HVAC experience. He is currently providing Building Commissioning services and has served as the Assistant Director for Maintenance and Associate Director for Engineering and Utilities at the University of Montana. He is currently serving on ASHRAE Standards Committee for Guideline 32 – Sustainable, High-Performance Operations and Maintenance.

As the Principal Engineer at Flow Engineers, LLC Tom provides mechanical, plumbing and ventilation design and analysis services; building commissioning, sustainable design, construction inspection and owner representation. He is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design – Accredited Professional (LEEDAP) with a focus on sustainable systems and operations of mechanical and energy systems.

This Lunch and Learn is for those who operate and maintain buildings to achieve high performance, safe productive indoor environments, with low energy, water and resource use. Learn how to apply these guidelines to all buildings, not just the new and labeled ones.
