IBOA 2016 Tech Talks: Joe Stagg

This Lunch and Learn is for those who operate and maintain buildings to achieve high performance.

ECM Pumps and Circulators
Rumors are that all centrifugal pumps and fans will be controlled using touch-screen technology within the next 5 to 10 years. The DOE is putting high expectations on equipment manufacturers for increased efficiencies and is looking for direction on enforcement of optimal performance. In today's HVAC industry, we already find ECM (electronically commutated) motors of up to 10HP. This 1-hour class offers an in-depth look at what does ECM mean, how does it work, and why we should be using this technology with all of our pumping needs.

Joe Stagg has been teaching the proper principals of HVAC system design, installation, operation, and maintenance over the past 10 years. Most recently, after incorporating Pipeline Development Company in June of 2008, Joe has been teaching expanded training programs revolving around high-efficiency, green technology, and energy conservation in HVAC systems.
